Description
Applied Psychology is the use of the scientific findings of Psychology to solve practical problems of human and animal behavior and mental processes. The principles of psychology are being applied in mental and physical health, organizational settings, business management, education, product design, ergonomics, and law. Some of the key areas of applied psychology include clinical psychology, counseling psychology, evolutionary psychology, Industrial and organizational psychology, legal psychology, neuropsychology, occupational psychology, health psychology, forensic psychology, school psychology, sports psychology, community psychology. In addition, several specialized areas in the general field of psychology have applied branches (e.g., Applied Social Psychology, Applied Cognitive Psychology).

The department was established in 2016 with a vision to inculcate Islamic ethical values along with modern day education. Currently we are offering undergraduate (BS) and post-graduate programs i.e., MS in Clinical Psychology (MSCP), Advance Diploma in Clinical Psychology (ADCP), and Advance Diploma in Addiction Sciences. “We are committed to nurturing and educating our students by imparting both up-to-date knowledge and essential skills in research and critical thinking. Our focus extends to enhancing their practical abilities, as well as honing written and oral communication skills, contributing to the overall development of their clinical acumen.
