I was very shy with my writings and never had the courage to publish them. I had been doing poetry since grade 1 and been doing fireside tales, I was never sure about my field that I took but a teacher saw potential in me and motivated me to publish my work and this happened to be the best decision of my life. While we were the first in the department and most of my friends moved to other universities. I chose to stay and the department honed my skills and my confidence. My articles got published in Dawn, young world, SMASH etc. and I got a job instantly. I got called on radio shows to talk about writing trends in youth. While I was in my first semester and the response. I got from public was very encouraging. I was the CR for 4 years and on the top of that I was the pioneer who represented English department in different societies and eventually became the president in RSE for English department for three years and later campus president. Our decor was well known in all campuses. I was the runner up in HULT prize, writer and editor for HULT and the writer for Unikorn.org as well. During my tenure, I trained and motivated juniors to kick start their writing careers who were shy like me. I wanted to start our university’s magazine where our students could showcase their skills but my little time couldn’t do so. Before leaving I diagrammed the society for our department so my juniors from all departments with a knack for writing can represent themselves and our university.
I was a very influential student in my university and a social butterfly. It’s been 3-4 years and people still remember me for the work I have done. Even today juniors would text me and ask me for career advices. It’s been 7 years that I have been a writer. I never looked for jobs. The jobs searched me. I did project management in my masters. I am a public relations manager, community builder, influencer, part time model. I have conducted trainings as well. I have written 6+ books on Wattpad. Some of them were published in SMASH. Currently I am working on publishing a poetry book of my family. I am also working on my skincare brand for men.
Right now I am leading a site of 46+ companies with 400 plus people and managing relationships with Airforce and NASTAP as well. The library was my favorite spot in the university. It was where I would hear my thoughts and meet my writings. My advice for students will be, go all out, excuse yourself from the grade competition and enjoy your student life while you have the time to do so. Participate in everything. Don’t shy away to step in the limelight. No one in my career asked me about my grades, they all asked me about the fun stuff I did. The most heartwarming thing a teacher told me was you influenced me. You are my ideal student and my juniors told me I am their role model. Coming this from a teacher and my juniors is an honour and this thing keeps my head high in pride.
Looking at my juniors like Sarah Ashaab and others who I mentored excelling in their career makes me extremely proud and happy.

When I enrolled in the BS English Literature and Linguistics program, I initially started at the Riphah International University i-14 Campus. This campus is not only vast but also spacious, providing a comfortable environment for students. I enjoyed my time there, appreciating the infrastructure, but my favorite spot has to be the area near the parking lot. It’s a great spot for hanging out with friends or spending some alone time, thanks to the ample sunlight.
