Students admitted on open merit seat in BS degree program of semester system are Eligible subject to below criterion;

1. Student has secured a position (1st to 10th) in 1st. annual intermediate examination of respective board of intermediate & secondary education in Pakistan.
2. Scholarship is awarded only for one academic term/semester.
3. Under this scheme scholarship will be awarded up to 100% of tuition fee.
4. This scholarship scheme excludes programs of Medical and Dental Sciences.

Talent Scholarship:

This scholarship is applicable to new admissions of Bachelor, MS and M. Phil degree programs of Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Basic Sciences, Management Sciences, Engineering and Media Sciences for their first semester. Students must maintain 3.85 CGPA for continuation of same scholarship in their subsequent semesters.

Students of semester system securing any position among top 20% of total strength of respective intake batch in university exam of the respective academic term are eligible subject to below criterion;

1. These students have attained SGPA of 3.50 or above.
2. This scholarship is awarded from 2nd term/semester onwards and available simultaneously to students eligible for Musabiqat Scholarship.
3. This scholarship scheme excludes programs of Medical and Dental Sciences

Students eligible for Mumtaz Scholarship and securing any of top three positions in exams of Riphah International University for BS/MS degree programs of the respective academic term are eligible subject to below criterion;

1. These students have attained SGPA of 3.71 or above.
2. There are three scholarships under this scheme available from 2nd term onward.
3. This scholarship scheme excludes programs of Medical and Dental Sciences.

Usra assistantship is awarded to real brother(s)/sister(s) of those students studying in any program of Riphah International University and paying fee simultaneously for same semester/term.

1. It is awarded to brother(s)/sister(s) admitted later.
2. 10% assistance ship on tuition fee is available to 2nd brother/sister, 20% of tuition fee to third brother/sister.

Salaar assistantship is awarded to regular serving ranked employee/personnel of Armed Forces of Pakistan studying in any MS Level Program of Management Sciences at Riphah Islamabad. The candidate has to submit proof of his/her employment/rank.

1. 25% assistance ship on tuition fee is available.
2. For continuation of assistance ship in subsequent terms, the student must maintain SGPA of 3.20 in each subsequent university exam.

Assistance ships under this scheme are available to students whose parents (fee sponsor) is deceased after admission to any program of Riphah International University.

1. 50% assistant ship on Semester fee is awarded to the student every term/semester.
2. For continuation of assistance ship in subsequent terms, the student must maintain SGPA of 3.20 in each university exam

Assistance ships under this scheme are available to students getting admission in any regular undergraduate program of Management Sciences and Computer Sciences.

1. The student has secured at least 60% marks in intermediate/graduation as the case may be and his/her parents are regular government employee.
2. 25% assistance ship on tuition fee is available under this scheme.
3. For continuation of assistance ship in subsequent terms, the student must maintain SGPA of 3.20 in each university exam.

Assistantships are available on need cum merit base for students who have passed at least one university exam of Riphah International University.

1. The student must prove his/her hardship to the competent authority.
2. The assistantship is awarded on tuition fee of respective semester/term.
3. For continuation of assistance ship in subsequent terms, the student must maintain SGPA of 3.20 in each university exam.
4. The student awarded Mawakhat Assistantship must complete 01 hour of social work as per schedule of the job assigned by the competent authority in the vicinity of Riphah International University or its sponsor IIMCT.

General Rules for Scholarships / Financial Assistance:

1. Students of institutions affiliated to Riphah International University are not eligible for any scholarship/assistance ships.
2. To be considered for award of scholarship/assistance ship there should be no dues outstanding against the respective student applying for scholarship/assistance ship.
3. Each Riphah Student is eligible for the award of scholarship/assistance ship in one scheme.
4. Scholarship/Assistance ship is not applicable to courses/semester/terms repeated by the student.
5. Students of 1st. term & students admitted on special/reserved seats are not eligible for assistance ship under “Mawakhat” scheme.
6. Once FA Committee has given any decision it cannot be reviewed or reconsidered in that semester/term. University has the discretion to revise its rules and regulations as deemed necessary by the authorities from time to time.

Application for Financial Assistance:

1. A student seeking financial assistance must apply for on a prescribed application form. Forms are available in Finance Department
2. Applications for financial assistance are entertained if submitted within the first two weeks of course registration of respective term along with 50% dues.
3. Applications must be signed by the parents/guardian of student enclosed with reliable proof of financial constraints & academic performance. The concerned student is communicated about the outcome of their applications in due course of time. In case assistance ship is approved remaining amount must be deposited within fifteen days.
