It is a great pleasure to share the news of the successful arrangement of a one-day workshop on LaTeX delivered by HoD EE Dr. Sohail Khalid for the professional development of FEAS faculty members at I-14 Campus on 24th June, 2021. Considering the Covid-19 SOPs, only 18 faculty members were shortlisted from both the Electrical and Biomedical Departments.
LaTeX is widely used for medium-to-large technical or scientific documents, but it can be used for almost any form of publishing. Therefore, a broader audience from all faculties of Riphah will be invited for the upcoming workshop on LaTeX from the RARE platform.

CPD Workshop for Engineers on Electrical Safety
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops are essential for every professional Engineering Body. CPD enables learning to become conscious and proactive, rather than passive and reactive, and it combines different methodologies to learning, such as training workshops, conferences, and events, e-learning programs, best practice techniques, and ideas sharing, all focused on an individual to improve and have effective professional development.
We are glad to share with you Riphah International University, the main campus, I-14 Islamabad, successfully arranged a workshop on “Electrical Safety” for graduated Engineers on 13th April 2021. It was an online workshop and conducted using MS Teams software. There were hundreds of applicants from various professional areas, including senior professional Engineers from the leading technology-based companies of Pakistan.
