Dr. Sitwat Usman Langrial has earned his doctorate from the University of Oulu, Finland, specialising in Health Information Systems. During his doctoral studies, he was the project leader of SALWE that was funded by the Finnish Funding Agency, TEKES. Prior to the doctorate, he earned MSc (Information Technology Her Majesty’s Scholarship Funded) from the University of Aberdeen, UK, and MBA from the University of Wollongong, Australia and MS in Applied Finance from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. He has worked for Capital Finance, Australia, GE Finance, Australia, University of Western Sydney, Australia, Kylle Management & Consultants, New Zealand, University of Wollongong (Australia), University of Aberdeen, UK and Sur University, Sultanate of Oman. He comes from a diverse international background in both industry and academia. His research interests cover psychological wellbeing, social media, digital transformation, persuasive technologies and Public Healthcare. He is the author of several high-quality journal publications, globally recognized international conference proceedings and a book on Psychological Interventions that has been added to PsycINFO.
