MS Computer Science (Hons)

This program has been designed to cater the need of the students at a broad base, including fresh graduates, industry professionals, prospect researchers and faculty members in the domain of computing. The inherent and ever-increasing breadth in Computer Science makes it attractive for a vast range of interested audience. It extends from its algorithms, architecture and automata foundations to emerged areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Soft Computing, Machine Vision, Cyber-Physical Systems, Graphics, Bioinformatics, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Distributed Systems, Human Computer Interaction and Internet of Things. The MS (Computer Science) program at Riphah University offers a broad spectrum of courses, while simultaneously allowing emphasis in desired areas of specializations. The MS (Computer Science) comprises both course work as well as research component. There are four ‘core courses’ and four ‘elective courses’ aimed at strengthening the understanding and competence of students in computer science.
