Introduction:

RICPP ADMISSION REQUIREMENT PhD PSYCHOLOGY

Fee structure for PhD psychology is Rs:184,921 for 1st semester

1. Eligibility criteria for admission in PhD Psychology program, in RICPP, shall be as per HEC policy. The candidates must fulfill the following pre-requisites:
2. A completed prior degree in the field of Psychology.
   1. 18 years of education with the specialty in any program in Psychology
   2.  MPhil/MS level degree related to any field of Psychology.
3. Completed degree must be from an accredited educational institution and duly approved by HEC.
4. Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the semester system) or First division (in the annual system).
5. Cleared GAT/GRE, subject test (NTS) or ETS (USA) in area of specialization chosen at the PhD level, with minimum 60 % marks, cleared prior to admission (as per requirement provided by the HEC).
6. A typed statement of purpose for taking admission in PhD program in Psychology, of minimum 700-900 words, attached with the application.
7. Applicants working in Government and semi-government jobs must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective organization along with the application.
8. Final selection will be based on applicants’ previous academic record, GAT/GRE score and statement of purpose.
9. Selected candidates will then be called for admission test and interview.
10. Final selection will be based on synopsis defense and interview.
