Mastering the Mic: Riphah FM 102.2’s Anchor Training Workshop

Riphah FM 102.2 proudly organized a dynamic Anchor Training Workshop, providing a hands-on learning experience aimed at refining the skills of aspiring broadcasters. The workshop focused on key elements of professional broadcasting, including storytelling techniques, voice modulation, and on-air presence.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and featured engaging, expert-led sessions. Mr. Azhar Niaz, a veteran radio and TV producer known for his work with Radio Pakistan and PTV, shared profound insights from his decades-long broadcasting journey. Mr. Tariq Butt, with over 50 years in the media industry, delivered invaluable advice rooted in his rich professional experience. Additionally, Ms. Nazia Baig conducted an interactive, activity-based session that deeply resonated with participants, sparking creativity and enthusiasm.
Concluding remarks were delivered by Mr. Irfan Bhatti, Station Head of Riphah FM 102.2, followed by a certificate distribution ceremony led by Dr. Riaz Adil, Head of Department at Riphah Institute of Media Sciences.
The workshop welcomed students from various Riphah faculties—including the Riphah Institute of Media Sciences, Riphah School of Leadership, Riphah Department of Islamic Studies, and IIMCT—as well as participants from Rawalpindi Women University, Allama Iqbal Open University, Hamdard University, and Federal Urdu University, fostering a vibrant and diverse learning environment.
