Muhammad Farooq

Mr. Muhammad Farooq has been an integral part of Riphah International University since 2005 and currently serves as the Director of Information Services. With over 27 years of expertise in Library and Information Science, he has played a pivotal role in the digital transformation, modernization, and strategic development of library services.

An accomplished leader, Mr. Farooq has spearheaded numerous national and international projects on library management, digitization, and emerging trends in information services. His global exposure and deep understanding of modern library technologies have positioned him as a key contributor to the evolution of library systems in higher education institutions.

Renowned for his visionary leadership and exceptional communication skills, he is recognized as an expert in library infrastructure, digital library systems, and contemporary trends in information management. Under his leadership, Riphah’s Information Services Department continues to drive innovation, efficiency, and excellence in academic support and research facilitation.
