Media and Muslim Women
In Pakistan, the image and rights of women have significantly been affected. Instead of paving the way to help them by ensuring that they receive the rights granted by the constitution and Islam, they have often been misled by the influence of feminist movement.
Promoting an accurate representation of women in society and the media, engaging in discussions about the principles of gender equity (as opposed to absolute equality), and shedding light on women's rights in Islam, while highlighting their relevance to contemporary circumstances, can illustrate that Islam, when practiced in accordance with its fundamental tenets, becomes a crucial guardian of women's rights.
The prime objective of this project is to create awareness about the difference between Islam and culture when discussing the rights of women, as well as highlight support for their well-being.
