Riphah Aspired Student (RAS) Framework
Introduction
The Riphah Aspired Student (RAS) Framework is a holistic, student-centered approach to university education, inspired by the university's mission and vision, and grounded in universal values. It emphasizes the ethical development of students, with leadership, faculty, and staff playing a key role in integrating RAS principles across all university activities.
This framework encourages faculties to develop longitudinal curricular themes, establish value-based systems within departments, and incorporate RAS themes into course content and teaching practices. To support this, TRC provides guidance to faculties and departments, offering resources such as the RAS Handbook to outline the frameworkâs principles and implementation strategies. Additionally, TRC organizes workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff to introduce them to RAS and help integrate it into the university's systems and educational practices.
