Program Description
The MS Islamic Business and Finance program at Riphah International University is designed to develop expertise in the principles and practices of Islamic finance and business management. This 36-credit-hour program, spanning 1.5 years, combines core courses in Islamic leadership, Takaful, Islamic banking, and Shariah governance with electives like FinTech and microfinance, offering a comprehensive understanding of Islamic financial systems.
Open to graduates from relevant fields, the program also accommodates non-business backgrounds through prerequisite courses. With evening and weekend classes, merit- and need-based scholarships, and practical insights into ethical and innovative Islamic financial solutions, this program equips students to excel in a dynamic global industry
Eligibility Criteria
MS Islamic Business and Finance (MS IBF)
For Pakistani Nationals
- 16 years of education in any relevant disciplines such as Islamic Banking and Finance, Management, Business, Commerce, or Economics with a 2.0 CGPA in the semester system or 50% marks in the annual system from any HEC-recognized Institution/University.
- Holders of Non-business education of 16 years or Shahadatul Aalamiya are also eligible but up to 15 credit hour deficiency courses in one semester are required. Deficiency will be decided on a case-to-case basis.

Degree Awarding Criteria
•Completed at least 30 credit hours of coursework, comprising 08 core courses (24 credit hours) and 2 elective courses (6 credit hours), in addition to a 06-credit-hour thesis or 02 courses of 06 credit hours in lieu of thesis..
•Obtained a CGPA of 2.5 or more.
