Program Description
A Ph.D. in Mathematics is a rigorous academic program that involves advanced coursework, comprehensive exams, and the development of original research contributing to the field. Students specialize in areas such as pure mathematics, applied mathematics, or statistics, focusing on solving complex problems and advancing mathematical knowledge. The program culminates in a dissertation that is often published in academic journals. Eligibility Criteria
PhD Mathematics
For Pakistani Nationals
The following criteria will be adopted for the admission to PhD (mathematics) program.
1. M.Phil/M.S./B.S. Mathematics degree or equivalent degree holders can apply for PhD (Mathematics) admission. • CGPA 3/4.00
2. 70% score in Ph.D. admission test conducted by the department or GRE passed conducted by ETS or 60% score in GAT subject mathematics conducted by NTS valid on the time of admission.
3. The PhD student shall complete coursework of 50 credit hours, however, MS/MPhil or equivalent degree holders having 18 credit hours coursework will be eligible to avail exemption of 18 credit hours coursework.
4. The student will be required to submit a statement of purpose along with application form.
For International Students
