Program Description
The MS in Electrical Engineering at RIPHAH International University is a two-year (four semesters) 32 credit hours program and requires the completion of 26 credit hours of course work and 6 credit hours of thesis. The course provides the students with a solid theoretical and practical foundation to embark on research with myriads of applications in academia, industry, defense and healthcare. Each student enrolled in this program must also complete an independent study/thesis on topics related to relevant concentrations as suggested by the faculty member or proposed by external research and development organizations. Flexibility in the program is allowed in order to accommodate the diverse backgrounds, available resources and different abilities of the enrolled students.
After successful completion of this program, the student should be equipped with the fundamental knowledge of signal processing and control, respectively, as they are applied in engineering problems.

For Pakistani Nationals
The eligibility criteria require a minimum of 16 years of formal education with a B.Sc in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or Avionics Engineering, along with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent. The degree requirements include completing a minimum of 32 credit hours, consisting of 24 credit hours of coursework and 6 credit hours of thesis.
