Program Description
The MS in Software Engineering (MSSE) program prepares students to advance their expertise in software engineering through a strong emphasis on research and practical application. It addresses the challenges faced by the software industry through a research-driven approach to develop innovative and effective software solutions.
The curriculum combines advanced software engineering concepts with hands-on experience, encouraging students to engage in original research or industry-focused projects. Graduates are equipped with the skills to contribute to both academic knowledge and industrial innovation, supported by ethical principles.
This program nurtures critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, enabling students to pursue leadership roles in software development, project management, and research, or to continue towards doctoral studies.
Eligibility Criteria
MS Software Engineering (MSSE)
For Pakistani Nationals
- BS-SE/CS/IT/Sciences/Engineering (16 years), or its equivalent in the relevant discipline from HEC recognized university or degree awarding institute with at least 60% marks or CGPA of at least 2.0 (on a scale of 4.0)
