Program Description

Program Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the program, the learners will be able to:

• Classify, explain, and justify the core principles of family mediation.
• Outline and articulate the five structured stages of the family mediation process.
• Analyze and apply the legal and ethical frameworks, including the core principles.
• Distinguish and analyze the psychological, emotional, financial, and sociological causes and impacts of family conflict on all parties.
• Compare and contrast the diverse roles, and ethical boundaries.
• Distinguish and analyze the psychological, emotional, financial, and sociological causes and impacts of family conflict on all parties.
• Demonstrate proficiency in essential mediation communication skills, interest-based negotiation methods and drafting clear, specific, and legally sound mediation agreements.
