Program Description
The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MS-AI) program equips graduates with advanced skills in designing, developing, and applying intelligent AI systems. The program focuses on core areas such as machine learning, probabilistic modeling, knowledge engineering, and AI applications in healthcare, while integrating essential research, ethical, and analytical decision-making capabilities.
Designed to meet the growing demand for skilled AI professionals, particularly in healthcare and interdisciplinary domains, the program offers a balanced combination of technical coursework, domain-relevant electives, and applied research. Students gain expertise in developing AI models, analyzing complex healthcare data, and implementing AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges.
A strong emphasis is placed on research, professional ethics, and problem-solving through a supervised thesis or project. Graduates will be prepared for advanced roles in AI development, healthcare analytics, intelligent system design, and research careers, as well as for doctoral studies and academic advancement.
Eligibility Criteria
MS Artificial Intelligence (MSAI)
For Pakistani Nationals
16-years of education in computing/science/engineering discipline preferably with 4 years degree program of BS (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering) or equivalent from HEC recognized university or degree awarding institute.
At least a CGPA of 2.0 on the scale of 4.0 or 60% marks in the previous degree.
Two years of relevant work experience is recommended.
Candidates may have to complete the deficiency coursework as determined by the admissions committee.

- Hostel charges of Rs. 216,000/semester for female and Rs. 180,000/semester for male boarders shall apply to above fee.

Merit / Selection Criteria
Qualify GRE General type admission test conducted by the university or a valid NTS GRE General test
Qualify the admission interview.
Admission will depend on the candidate’s overall score in previous academic degree, admission test, and performance in the interview.
