Program Description
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedicine program is a forward-thinking and interdisciplinary undergraduate degree designed to address the growing global demand for experts in biomedical research, healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. As science and technology advance, the need to understand the intricate biological processes underlying health and disease has become more critical than ever. Biomedicine is the study of the molecular, cellular, and genetic foundations of human biology and disease. It focuses on understanding the mechanisms that drive diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, infectious diseases, and inherited conditions. The BS Biomedicine program blends foundational sciences like biochemistry, genetics, and physiology with cutting-edge disciplines such as pharmacogenomics, bioinformatics, molecular medicine, and personalized healthcare. Through this integrated approach, students gain a holistic understanding of how biological systems function in health and become disrupted in disease. Eligibility: Min. 50% in Intermediate (Pre-Medical/Pre-Eng.),
A-Levels, or equivalent.
