Program Description
This diploma program aims to equip participants with in-depth and pragmatic expertise in Islamic psychotherapy, emphasizing a robust research component. It facilitates a critical and creative examination of contemporary approaches and practical challenges in psychotherapy and counseling, while fostering the integration of Islamic faith and practices to deepen existing knowledge. The curriculum is tailored to prepare participants for roles as psychotherapists or counselors, enhancing their awareness of spiritual interventions and empowering them to make autonomous clinical decisions across diverse settings, informed by an Islamic perspective.
Eligibility Criteria
The Post-Graduate Diploma in Islamic Psychotherapies for Mental Health (ADIPP)
For Pakistani Nationals
- MA/MSc degree in Psychology/Applied Psychology/BS in Clinical Psychology with at least 50% marks or 2.50/4.00 CGPA from an HEC-recognized University.
- Additional consideration will be given to candidates with experience in community work, counseling, psychiatric settings, Islamic psychology, academic roles, or research.
