The Editing & Special Effects program is designed to prepare creative and enthusiastic students to work in national and global media industries. Motion Graphics and visual effects (Visual F/X or VFX) are various processes by which imagery is created or manipulated outside the context of a live action shoot. It involves the integration of live-action footage and computer generated imagery to create situation which looks realistic.
The earliest special effects were created through special camera lenses or through tricks such as projecting a moving background behind the actors. Special effects have also been created mechanically on the set through the use of devices such as wires, explosives, and puppets and by building miniature models to simulate epic scenes such as battles. The growing use of computer animation and computer generated imagery has produced increasingly elaborate and realistic visual effects.
With extensive training and preparation, students will avail opportunities anywhere they wish because there is a gigantic need for Motion Graphics and VFX artists in Pakistan and worldwide.
