The Student Services Department (SSD) of Riphah International University, under the leadership of Mr. Zubair Safdar, Head SSD, successfully organized the Student Societies Annual Award Ceremony 2025 for the Islamabad and Rawalpindi campuses.

The ceremony was held to recognize and celebrate the outstanding performance, dedication, and impact of Riphah’s student societies throughout the year 2025. The event highlighted the vital role student-led initiatives play in promoting leadership, teamwork, and co-curricular excellence across the university.

The university was honored by the presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Anis Ahmed, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His encouragement and support served as a source of motivation for students and organizers alike. The event was further enriched by the esteemed presence of respected Heads of Departments, including Dr. Musharraf Ahmed, Dr. Faraz Akram, and Engr. Dr. Muhammad Sadiq Orakzai, who commended the efforts of student societies and emphasized the importance of holistic student development.

A total of 71 student societies actively participated in the ceremony. Outstanding societies were formally recognized and awarded for their exceptional contributions and performance. During the year 2025, Riphah’s student societies collectively organized more than 100 events, reflecting remarkable organizational skills, leadership capacity, and commitment to student engagement.

The successful execution of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the SSD team, including M. Farhan, Atyab Ahmed Zaidi, Ahmar Bukhari, Muhammad Talha, Zain ul Abidin, and Ali Haider, whose professionalism and coordination ensured a memorable and well-organized ceremony.
