Information Services Department Hosts Two-Day Training Workshop on Information Literacy

The Information Services Department (ISD) at Riphah International University successfully organized a two-day training workshop titled “Improving Student Outcomes with Information Literacy and Course Guides” on 18–19 December 2025 at the I-14 Campus. The workshop aimed to enhance academic support services by strengthening participants’ understanding of information literacy and effective use of course and subject guides.
The training featured insightful sessions covering key areas such as information literacy frameworks, international professional development practices, ISD resources, internal audit reflections, and practical approaches to developing subject-specific course guides. Participants also engaged in hands-on activities that allowed them to apply learning outcomes directly within an academic support context.
Interactive discussions, collaborative learning activities, and quizzes contributed to an engaging and productive learning environment. The workshop encouraged knowledge sharing, critical thinking, and practical skill development, enabling participants to better support student learning and academic success.
