The Faculty of Computing at Riphah International University, I-14 Campus Islamabad, successfully organized an informative seminar titled “Riding the AI Shockwave,” delivered by Mr. Waleed Riaz, Co-Founder of DPL. The session provided students and faculty with a deep and engaging exploration of the rapidly evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping economic systems, workplace productivity, job structures, and global talent dynamics.

Mr. Waleed Riaz shared valuable insights from his entrepreneurial journey and presented real-world industry perspectives drawn from DPL’s evolution. He discussed the accelerating influence of AI at local and international levels, highlighting both the transformative opportunities and challenges emerging within modern organizations. His talk shed light on key themes including economic shifts, employee productivity, job displacement trends, and the increasing competition in global talent markets.

Students participated actively throughout the seminar, asking thoughtful questions and showing strong curiosity about the future of AI and its implications for their careers.
