Riphah International University successfully concluded its 20th Convocation, a two-day celebration held on November 22 and 23 at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad. The event marked a major milestone as 2,860 graduates from undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs received their degrees.

The convocation brought together senior leadership, esteemed guests, faculty members, parents, and students, making it one of the most vibrant and memorable academic gatherings of the year. Graduates were awarded degrees in diverse fields including Health & Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rehabilitation & Allied Health Sciences, Engineering & Applied Sciences, Computing, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.

The first day of the convocation was presided over by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, who joined as the Chief Guest. He commended Riphah for its role in producing capable and ethical professionals, expressing confidence that the graduating students would contribute positively to Pakistan and the global community.

On both days, Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad addressed the gatherings, congratulating the graduates and acknowledging their commitment and resilience.

Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad emphasized Riphah’s rising stature at national and international levels, highlighting student exchange programs, growing global partnerships, and the university’s unwavering focus on character-building and ethical education.

Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan praised the hard work of the students and the support of their families, noting that Riphah graduates carry the responsibility of shaping the nation’s future.

Both days of the convocation saw the participation of newly enrolled Palestinian students, symbolizing Riphah’s expanding global outreach and its reputation as a trusted institution for international learners. Their presence was widely appreciated and seen as a positive sign of the university’s growing international engagement.

With over 30,000 students, 11 campuses, and more than 214 academic programs, Riphah International University continues to be recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and Islamic ethical values. Its recent placement among the top 400 universities in Asia and 92nd in South Asia in the QS World Rankings 2026 reflects its upward trajectory.

The successful completion of the 20th Convocation underscores Riphah International University’s dedication to nurturing competent, ethical, and globally competitive graduates.
