Riphah International University successfully organized the 5th International Conference on Rehabilitation Sciences (ICRS) and the 2nd International Conference on Allied Health Sciences (ICAHS) from 3rd to 5th October 2025 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore. The conferences were centered around the theme “Community-oriented Outcome-based Research and Practice.”

Leading up to the conferences, 55 specialized workshops were conducted to promote professional development and skill enhancement. Among these, 27 international workshops were led by global experts, training over 500 participants, while 30 national workshops engaged 750 participants across Pakistan. Additionally, four professional certificate courses benefited 120 professionals, reflecting Riphah’s dedication to practical, hands-on learning.

The conferences brought together a vibrant community of over 3,000 delegates from national and international institutions, including 20 online participants. Throughout the three days, 205 research dialogues, 96 oral lectures, and 108 presentations were delivered, showcasing cutting-edge research and innovation in rehabilitation and allied health sciences.

A highlight of the event was the participation of 40 internationally renowned keynote speakers from more than 17 countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, Switzerland, Ireland, Malaysia, Italy, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Japan, Oman, Egypt, Russia, and Nigeria. Alongside them, 135 distinguished national keynote speakers representing Pakistan’s leading academic, research, and healthcare institutions also shared their expertise.

The conferences culminated in the establishment of over 100 new industrial and academic collaborations, further strengthening the bridge between research, healthcare practice, and education.

Through ICRS and ICAHS 2025, Riphah International University reaffirmed its commitment to advancing healthcare research, promoting evidence-based practice, and nurturing global partnerships that drive sustainable impact.
