Riphah International University had the honor of hosting a memorable event on the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day. The celebration carried special significance as the University arranged a dinner in honor of Palestinian students currently pursuing their education at Riphah on fully-funded scholarships.

The evening served not only as a commemoration of Pakistan’s independence but also as a heartfelt expression of solidarity with the people of Palestine. Prayers were offered for their freedom, and the gathering acknowledged the immense hardships faced by Palestinians, reinforcing the shared values of resilience, unity, and brotherhood.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including the Ambassador of Palestine, the President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, and esteemed dignitaries from Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Global Relief Trust, and Fazilia Trust Pakistan. Riphah’s higher management, including the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor, also joined the occasion, further elevating its significance.

Speaking about the success of the event, the organizers expressed gratitude to the Director, Mr. Zubair Safdar, for his trust and guidance, and acknowledged the outstanding efforts of the entire Riphah team whose collaboration ensured the smooth execution of the program.

This remarkable celebration not only highlighted Pakistan’s journey of independence but also strengthened Riphah’s commitment to fostering compassion, unity, and global solidarity through education and community engagement.
