Faculty of Computing's All-Women Research Team Wins PKR 12.4M AI Cybersecurity Grant

Riphah International University is proud to announce that the Faculty of Computing at the Gulberg Greens Campus has been awarded a prestigious PKR 12.4 million research grant under the Pakistan Science Foundation’s (PSF) collaborative program with Türkiye.
The funded research project, titled “AI-Driven Evaluation of Top Cybersecurity Behaviour Models,” aims to pioneer advancements in cybersecurity using artificial intelligence. Uniquely, the project is led by an all-women team of researchers, exemplifying the growing leadership of women in STEM fields.

Their groundbreaking work not only strengthens Pakistan’s capabilities in cybersecurity research but also serves as a powerful example of academic excellence and gender inclusivity in technology-led innovation.
A special note of appreciation goes to Mr. Wasif Imran from ORIC – Al-Mizan Campus for his crucial guidance and operational support during the proposal process. His contribution played a vital role in securing this significant funding.
