BS Healthcare Management Students Explore Healthcare Operations Through Industrial Visit
Saturday, 31st October 2026
The Office of Industrial Liaison & Placements, Faculty of Management Sciences(FMS), organized an industrial visit for BS Healthcare Management students on 31 October 2026 to Bahria International Hospital and Al-Khidmat Razi Hospital. The visit was aimed at providing students with practical exposure to the operational, administrative, and managerial aspects of healthcare institutions.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe real-time hospital operations and develop a deeper understanding of how healthcare facilities manage their day-to-day activities. The exposure enabled them to gain insights into various aspects of healthcare management, including hospital administration, patient care services, departmental coordination, resource management, operational workflows, and the delivery of quality healthcare services.
Visiting both hospitals also allowed students to explore healthcare management practices in different institutional settings and understand the managerial challenges involved in ensuring efficient, effective, and patient-centred healthcare delivery. By observing the practical application of management principles in a hospital environment, students were able to relate their classroom learning to real-world professional practices.
The industrial visit served as a valuable experiential learning opportunity, broadening students' perspectives on healthcare administration and helping them better understand the roles and responsibilities of healthcare management professionals. Such industry-academia engagements reflect FMS-RSL's commitment to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice while preparing students for the evolving demands of the healthcare sector.
