Riphah International University Recognized for Outstanding Contribution to Literacy through EOTO Program

Riphah International University has secured the top position among participating universities for its contribution to literacy through the Each One Teaches One (EOTO) Program, earning recognition for its commitment to experiential learning and community service under the University's Life & Living Program.
The recognition was announced during an International Literacy Day ceremony held at Allama Iqbal Open University on 8 September 2026, where Riphah International University was presented with a commemorative shield in recognition of its contribution to literacy initiatives.
The shield was presented by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, and received on behalf of the Department by Mr. Usman Shahzad, Lecturer, Department of Islamic Studies.
The achievement highlights the impact of the Life & Living Program, which provides students with opportunities to apply their learning through meaningful engagement with communities and society. Through the EOTO Program, Riphah faculty and students have contributed to literacy efforts while translating academic learning into practical community service.
