Riphah Pharmacy Students Begin International Hospital Training in Malaysia

Lahore/Sahiwal: Four Pharmacy students from Riphah International University’s Sahiwal and Lahore campuses have travelled to Malaysia to undertake international hospital training through the University’s partner, Quest International University (QIU), Malaysia.
The students have successfully commenced their training, marking another significant step in Riphah International University’s efforts to expand meaningful international learning opportunities for its students.
Expanding International Opportunities for Students
The initiative reflects Riphah’s evolving approach to internationalization, moving beyond traditional student exchange models toward practical, discipline-specific international opportunities. These opportunities include internships, clinical exposure, hospital training, and professional development experiences designed to complement students’ academic learning.
For Pharmacy students, international hospital training provides an opportunity to gain exposure to professional healthcare environments and broaden their understanding of pharmacy practice in an international setting.
The initiative was facilitated through the coordinated efforts of the Riphah International Office (RIO), led by Mr. Muhammad Nauman Mansoor, in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS) at Riphah’s Sahiwal and Lahore campuses.
