The 48th Academic Council Meeting of Riphah International University was held on 4 August 2026 at the newly established Gujranwala Campus, bringing together members of the University's highest academic policy-making body to deliberate on matters related to academic excellence, research, and institutional development.

The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, Riphah International University. Discussions focused on maintaining and further strengthening the highest standards of teaching, research, and examinations across the University's academic campuses.

The Academic Council reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring quality and excellence in academic processes while upholding the University's distinctive educational mission of producing professionals grounded in Islamic moral and ethical values.

Hosting the Academic Council meeting at the newly established Gujranwala Campus also reflected the University's expanding academic presence and its commitment to maintaining consistent standards of education and academic governance across all campuses.

Dr. Haider Murad Chatha, Campus Director, Riphah Gujranwala Campus, along with his team, was appreciated for the warm hospitality and seamless coordination extended to the Academic Council members during the meeting.
