On the occasion of International Nurses Day 2026, Riphah Healthcare Services (RHS) proudly celebrated and recognized the remarkable dedication, professionalism, and compassionate service of its nursing workforce at Pakistan Railways Hospital (IIMCT-PRH).

The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Omer Awab Khan, Managing Director, Riphah Healthcare Services, who warmly welcomed the guests and paid tribute to the dedication and service of nursing professionals across the RHS network.

A key highlight of the event was an engaging panel discussion titled “How Nursing Leadership Improves Patient Outcomes.” The session was moderated by the Senior Manager Nursing, who introduced the distinguished panelists and facilitated a thought-provoking discussion on the evolving role of nursing leadership in enhancing healthcare quality, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.

As part of the celebrations, RHS senior leadership, including the Managing Director and Deputy Director Hospital, joined Dr. Omer Akram (COO PRH), Dr. Sikandar Shehzad (COO MHH), Dr. Muhammad Asad (ACCO PRH), and Dr. Sameera Ahmad (DMS RIH) in recognizing nursing professionals and distinguished guests. Commemorative shields and certificates were presented in appreciation of their outstanding contributions to healthcare and patient well-being.

The event concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Ali Tahir Rana, who reaffirmed the indispensable role of nurses in delivering patient-centered care and advancing positive healthcare outcomes.
