Riphah Team Secures Runner-Up Position at Halshanas Inter-University Tech & Innovation Challenge

Students from Riphah International University have achieved another remarkable milestone by securing the Runner-up position at Halshanas – Inter-University Tech & Innovation Challenge, a prestigious competition powered by Google Developer Groups and National Incubation Center Lahore, and hosted by Beaconhouse National University.
Representing the Riphah School of Computing & Innovation (RSCI), the talented student team comprising Muhammad Mustafa, Ubaid Ur Rehman Dar, and Rehan Abrar demonstrated exceptional innovation, teamwork, and presentation skills while competing against more than 30 teams from universities across Pakistan.
Halshanas Edition II brought together some of the country’s brightest young innovators to showcase technology-driven ideas and solutions addressing real-world challenges. The competition provided participants with a platform to collaborate, innovate, and pitch their ideas before industry experts, mentors, and startup ecosystem leaders.
The achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the Riphah students, whose countless hours of preparation, ideation, iteration, and pitching culminated in this outstanding success.
The team also expressed heartfelt gratitude to their respected mentors and faculty members for their continuous guidance and support: Zarmina Jahangir, Dr. Sheheryar Malik, and Atika Islam.
