Faculty of Computing Hosts Open House and Job Fair at the Gulberg Greens Campus

Riphah Institute of Informatics (RII), Faculty of Computing (FC), successfully hosted the 8th Open House and Job Fair (Spring 2026) on Thursday, 14th May 2026, at the Gulberg Greens Campus.
The event was organized as part of the Faculty’s continued efforts to provide female students with meaningful industry exposure, professional networking opportunities, and direct engagement with leading employers. The initiative created a dynamic platform where final-year students were able to showcase their technical expertise, innovative projects, and professional capabilities while exploring diverse career pathways within the technology sector.
More than 20 reputable organizations participated in the Job Fair, offering valuable opportunities for internships, recruitment, and career networking. The event produced highly encouraging outcomes, with more than 30 students securing internship opportunities and over 20 students receiving on-the-spot job offers. In addition, many participants were shortlisted for further interviews and recruitment processes by participating organizations.
The event highlighted the strong academic preparation, technical competence, and professional confidence demonstrated by students of the Faculty of Computing. Through direct interaction with recruiters and industry representatives, students gained valuable insight into workplace expectations, emerging industry trends, and career development opportunities.
The occasion was further honored by the presence of the Chief Guest, Fahad Zafar, General Manager at Nayatel. During his interaction with students, he appreciated the professionalism, talent, and technical skills demonstrated throughout the event and commended the Faculty for creating valuable industry engagement opportunities for students.
The Faculty of Computing extends sincere gratitude to all participating organizations, distinguished guests, faculty members, visitors, student organizers, and the FC Coordination Office for their support and contributions toward the successful execution of the event.
