Faculty of Computing Organizes Alumni-Led Mock Interviews Spring 2026 to Prepare Students for Professional Careers

The Faculty of Computing (FC), Gulberg Green Campus at Riphah International University successfully organized Alumni-Led Mock Interviews Spring 2026 as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening industry-academia engagement and preparing final-year students for professional careers.
The event served as a unique platform where accomplished Riphah alumni returned to their alma mater to mentor, guide, and professionally assess current students through simulated industry-level interviews. A total of twelve distinguished alumni from diverse sectors including software engineering, artificial intelligence, graphic design, media communication, digital marketing, software quality assurance, and creative industries actively participated in the initiative.

Students of Software Engineering (SE), Computer Science (CS), and Bachelor of Computer Arts (BCA), actively participated in the interviews and counselling sessions. During the event, alumni reviewed CVs, conducted formal interviews, offered constructive feedback, and guided students regarding professional communication, portfolio development, interview preparation, and technical skill enhancement.
A key highlight of the event was the strong alumni engagement and mentorship culture demonstrated throughout the sessions. Alumni shared their professional journeys, workplace experiences, and career development strategies, motivating students to align their academic learning with evolving industry requirements and professional standards.
The event also provided opportunities for networking, potential internships, and recruitment prospects, further reinforcing the value of alumni-industry collaboration in student career development. To acknowledge their valuable contributions, the Faculty presented Letters of Appreciation and commemorative shields to all participating alumni as a token of gratitude for their continued support and mentorship.
Students described the experience as highly beneficial and closely aligned with real-world hiring processes, while participating alumni appreciated the opportunity to reconnect with the University and contribute to the professional growth of future graduates.
