Thursday, 30th April 2026
The Faculty of Computing at Riphah International University, Gulberg Greens Campus (GGC), successfully organized Agile Day 2026 on 30 April 2026 for CS 5th semester and CY 2nd semester students. The event aimed to provide students with practical exposure to Agile methodologies, which play a central role in modern software development and project management practices.
The session focused on equipping students with future-ready professional competencies, including collaboration, adaptability, problem-solving, communication, and continuous learning — skills that are increasingly essential in today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape.
The Faculty was honored to host a distinguished delegation from Agile Pakistan, including Syed Qambar Ali, Hina Kanwal, Madiha Hassan, Ihtisham ul Haq, Abdul Basit Bhatti, and Muhammad Nauman Mirza.
The guest speakers shared valuable real-world insights into Agile frameworks, Scrum practices, teamwork strategies, and industry expectations. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, students gained a deeper understanding of how Agile methodologies are applied within technology organizations to improve productivity, innovation, and project delivery.
The session successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and professional industry practices, enabling students to better align their technical and professional skills with current market demands and emerging career opportunities in the technology sector.
The Faculty of Computing extends its sincere gratitude to the Agile Pakistan delegation, participating students, and event organizers for making Agile Day 2026 an engaging, impactful, and professionally enriching experience.
