The Faculty of Computing at Riphah International University, Gulberg Greens Campus, successfully organized an engaging and insightful bootcamp titled “Career LaunchPad: Blockchain Technology” on 11 February 2026 for BS Computer Science students of the 6th and 8th semesters.

The four-hour intensive session was designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing students with practical exposure to emerging trends in blockchain technology and AI-integrated systems. The bootcamp aimed to equip future computing professionals with industry-relevant knowledge, technical direction, and career guidance in the rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem.

The Faculty was honored to host distinguished industry experts from Troon Technologies, including Danish Gakhar (Senior Full Stack Blockchain & AI Engineer), Hassan Raza (Senior Blockchain Developer), and Nasir Ali Shah (Blockchain Developer). The guest speakers shared valuable insights into real-world blockchain applications, industry expectations, emerging opportunities, and the essential skillsets required for success in blockchain and decentralized technologies.

The session featured interactive discussions, practical industry perspectives, and career-focused mentorship, enabling students to gain clarity and confidence regarding future opportunities in blockchain development, AI integration, and Web3 technologies. Participants actively engaged with the speakers, making the bootcamp both informative and inspiring.
