Empowering Talents: RIPS Organizes Successful RAS Model Event 2026

Riphah International University’s Tarbiyah Team (RIPS) successfully hosted an engaging RAS Model Event on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Designed to foster both intellectual and creative growth, the event provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their diverse talents through a series of parallel competitions.
The day commenced at 10:00 AM with a soulful Tilawat to set a spiritual tone for the proceedings. Following the opening, students participated in four major categories of competition:
- Naat Competition: Featuring 6 participants who performed with great devotion.
- Presentation Competition: 7 groups presented insightful ideas regarding various RAS components.
- Calligraphy: A showcase of artistic creativity and traditional visual expression.
- Poster Competition: A platform for students to demonstrate their visual storytelling and design skills.
The event featured several distinguished speakers who emphasized the role of character building in academic life. Dr. Hafiz Waqas Khan, Head of the Tarbiyah Department, highlighted the necessity of co-curricular activities for personal development. Dr. Shahiq uz Zaman (HOD, Pharmaceutics) discussed the vital impact of Tarbiyah on the student body, while Miss Summaya Batool (Asst. Manager Central Tarbiyah) commended the participants for their valuable contributions.
The program concluded with a prize distribution ceremony to honor the winners, followed by a note of thanks from Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Ansari. The event wrapped up with a lunch, allowing students and faculty to reflect on a day filled with healthy competition and talent discovery.
