Riphah School of Leadership Organizes Alumni Industrial Visit to Heavy Mechanical Complex Taxila

The Riphah School of Leadership (RSL), Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS), organized an Alumni Industrial Linkages visit to Heavy Mechanical Complex (Taxila) to provide participants with practical exposure to large-scale industrial operations.
The visit was designed to strengthen academia–industry linkages while enhancing participants’ understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes within a real-world industrial environment. It offered a valuable opportunity for students and alumni to witness firsthand the operational dynamics of one of Pakistan’s leading heavy engineering organizations.
During the session, participants toured key production facilities, including heavy engineering workshops and manufacturing units. They gained insights into industrial workflows, quality assurance systems, and operational management practices that drive large-scale production. Industry professionals also briefed the group on organizational structure, production standards, and the integration of modern technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
The interaction with industry experts provided practical knowledge on how engineering concepts and management principles are applied in complex industrial settings.
