RSCI Startup “Inkless” to Represent Pakistan at Bangkok Business Challenge 2026
Tuesday, 14th April 2026
In a landmark achievement for Pakistan’s tech landscape, Inkless, a startup founded by 8th-semester students from the Riphah School of Computing & Innovation (RSCI), Lahore, has been named a finalist in the prestigious Bangkok Business Challenge 2026.
Out of hundreds of applicants across the continent, Inkless has secured a spot in the Top 20 in Asia, standing as the sole representative from Pakistan in Asia’s longest-running global student startup competition. The final round is set to take place on May 23, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Inkless team—comprising talented students Hafiz Rizwan Umar, Ammara Lohani, and Eisha Ashfaq—has developed a secure, AI-integrated Learning Management System (LMS) specifically optimized for assessments.
Designed for educational institutions in emerging markets, Inkless offers a robust and affordable alternative to international platforms, which are often 5–10 times more expensive than this indigenous solution. The startup is currently incubated at the National Incubation Center (NIC) Lahore, which is facilitating their travel and logistics for the international finals.
The university extends its congratulations to the mentors who guided the team to this achievement:
- Ms. Zarmina Jahangir (RSCI Entrepreneurship Mentor)
- Prof. Dr. Waqar Mahmood (FYP Supervisor)
- Ms. Nadia Qureshi (FYP Manager)
This global milestone is the result of RSCI’s dedicated mission over the last three years to foster a vibrant startup culture. The school’s success is already evident on the local circuit, with RSCI students winning 6 out of 11 domestic competitions in the past year alone.
