Managers Club Leads Annual Ramadan Community Drive at Riphah
Wednesday, 25th March 2026
The Managers Club, a student body of the Faculty of Management Sciences – Riphah School of Leadership (FMS-RSL) at Riphah International University, successfully conducted its 8th consecutive Ramadan community outreach campaign, exemplifying the true spirit of leadership through service.
This year’s month-long initiative combined spiritual enrichment with large-scale humanitarian efforts, reflecting Riphah’s commitment to community welfare and value-based education. At the heart of the campaign were the Daily Deen Sessions, providing students and faculty with opportunities for reflection and spiritual growth. These sessions were enriched by the scholarly guidance of Mufti Matiullah Farooqi and Dr. Asma Gul, who shared valuable insights on applying Islamic teachings in contemporary life.
In addition to on-campus engagement, the student body leveraged digital platforms by producing Daily Hadees Recordings, extending the message of faith and guidance beyond the university community.
The campaign also focused on supporting underserved communities through a Daily Iftar Dastarkhwan, organized across multiple locations throughout the 29 days of Ramadan. These efforts benefited madaris, orphanages, old age homes, and women’s and children’s shelter homes, ensuring access to meals for vulnerable groups.
A key highlight of the initiative was the Ration Drive, through which over 100+ ration packages were distributed to deserving families, providing essential food supplies for the entire month. As Ramadan concluded, the campaign extended into Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, with volunteers distributing Eid gifts and Eidi to children and underprivileged families, spreading joy and inclusivity.
The entire initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of student volunteers and faculty mentors, supported by generous donations exceeding PKR 1.6 million. This collaboration reflects a strong culture of service, compassion, and teamwork within the Riphah community.
The success of this 8-year legacy highlights the enduring commitment of the Managers Club and Riphah International University to social responsibility, community engagement, and humanitarian service, reinforcing the institution’s mission of serving humanity beyond academic boundaries.
