6th International Happiness Summit 2026 Inspires Global Conversations on Healing and Humanity

Riphah International University, through the Riphah Institute of Lifestyle Medicine (RILM), successfully co-hosted the 6th International Happiness Summit 2026, organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Lifestyle Medicine (PALM) and the Lifestyle Medicine Global Alliance (LMGA). The two-day summit was held on 28–29 March 2026, bringing together global experts, healthcare professionals, and thought leaders to promote well-being and resilience in challenging times.
The summit was organized under the theme “Healing Humanity in Times of Conflict: Cultivating Inner Peace for a Troubled World,” reflecting the urgent need to foster emotional well-being, peace, and human connection at both individual and societal levels. The initiative is part of the global Happiness Movement, founded by Dr. Shagufta Feroz, aimed at promoting positive living and holistic health.
The event attracted participation from over 100 attendees representing multiple countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Pakistan, highlighting its strong international outreach and collaborative impact.
The opening session featured key insights from global and national leaders in lifestyle medicine, emphasizing the importance of inner peace, emotional balance, and community well-being. Distinguished speakers, including Dr. Liana Lianov, Dr. Marcela Sandoval Garza, and Dr. Miina Öhman, shared perspectives on emotional resilience, self-awareness, and maintaining well-being in modern life.
