In a landmark achievement for Riphah International University, the university’s Cricket Team has secured 1st position in the HEC Cricket Championship (Zone D). This historic victory marks the first time in Riphah’s history that the team has won this prestigious title, making it a truly memorable milestone for the institution.

Throughout the championship, Riphah’s Cricket Team demonstrated exceptional performance, resilience, and competitive spirit. The team defeated some of the strongest sides in the region, including National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and University of Wah, to secure a place in the final.

The championship match was played on 16 February at NUST against Quaid-i-Azam University. It was a highly competitive and thrilling encounter, with both teams displaying determination and sportsmanship. In a closely contested game, Riphah’s players exhibited remarkable skill, discipline, and teamwork to clinch a well-deserved victory.
