The Peshawar Medical Campus (PMC) Library Network serves as a dynamic academic and research hub, offering students, faculty, and researchers a well-equipped environment for learning.
The library network spans three key locations: the Basic Science Library, Main Library, and Boys’ Hostel Library, collectively housing over 15,000 books and a diverse range of journals and online resources. The library meets accreditation standards set by Higher Education Commission (HEC), and Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).
The library offers a comprehensive reference section, including dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, and original editions of key medical texts. Students benefit from an extensive textbook collection with a borrowing policy of up to three books for a month, along with access to peer-reviewed medical journals and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Digital Library. The Information Literacy Program helps users develop essential research skills, while library staff provide personalized assistance to enhance the research experience.
Like all Riphah libraries, Peshawar Campus Library offers full range of circulation services, provides access to digital and print collections, online journals, Wi-Fi, OPAC, scanning and photocopying services. Research support is available through query management system, citation management services, information literacy enhancement program, reference service and online document delivery.
