The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences includes disciplines of Medical and Dental Sciences, Nursing and Lifestyle medicine. Our vision is to pursue and create excellence in the academia with international recognition, making competent and safe health professionals within the framework of Islamic ethical values. Excellence in academia we achieve regularly by revising and updating the curricula according to the current trends in the medical education with own modifications in teaching, assessment and evaluation strategies. Our programmes are recognized by the national and international institutions and associations like Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC), Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC), College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), International Institute of Medical Education (IIME), International Medical Education Directory (IMED), International Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities (IARMA), and Foundation for Advancement of Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). In 2024 the Islamic International Medical College was awarded the ‘Certificate of Merit in Faculty Development’ by the Association of Medical Education of Europe (AMEE). In our Curriculum we have embedded the subjects of ‘Lifestyle Medicine’ and ‘Patient Safety’ which distinguishes us from the other institutions.

Scholarship is a vital component for the educational institutions. Our focus is to maximize international collaboration in this regard. International conference on medical education (ICME) is held biennially, mostly abroad in collaboration with other the institutions. UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Mauritius and others have been the venues in the past. Also International Conferences at home are conducted in the discipline of ‘Patient Safety’ and Lifestyle Medicine’. Special emphasis is on the research and innovation as well. We start student research programme at the undergraduate level. To produce high quality publications by the students and the faculty is our goal with innovations.

At the postgraduate level there are Ph.D, Masters, Fellowship, Diploma and certificate programmes in all the disciplines. In the recent future we intend to start micro-credentialing and expanding nursing education in a big way.

Education not only means to impart knowledge, but also to build a professional with high values. There is a structured mentoring programme to inculcate universal values in general and specifically the Islamic ethical values. Co-curricular activities are a regular feature to make a holistic professional.

At the end our aim is to make high quality professionals who will be leaders of change.
