Currently, Dr Muhammad Saif ul Islam is serving as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Riphah International University, Islamabad. In addition, he holds the position of Associate Editor for the Journal of Islamic Business and Management, an official journal of Riphah International University. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the School of Commerce and Accountancy, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, Minhaj University Lahore. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at the School of Economics, Finance, and Banking, Universiti Utara Malaysia, for almost 3.5 years, and at Hailey College of Commerce, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, for 1.5 years. He earned a Ph.D. (Finance & Banking) at the School of Economics, Finance, & Banking (AACSB), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). This university holds AACSB accreditation, a distinction achieved by only about 6 percent of business schools worldwide. The School of Economics, Finance, & Banking (SEFB) is proudly ranked among the top 150 to 200 institutions globally in the QS World University Rankings, reflecting its academic excellence, research impact, and international reputation. Furthermore, he has published research papers in well-reputed journals, including impact factor, WoS, ABS, ABDC, and Scopus-indexed journals. He has also won two internal research grants awarded by the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), Riphah International University, Islamabad. He has served as an editorial board member of the Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Venturing (JEBV), an HEC-Pakistan recognized journal (E-ISSN: 2791-1195), and is currently a member of the editorial board of The Progress: A Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (ISSN: 2958-292X), also recognized by HEC-Pakistan. In addition, he has served as a reviewer for several high-impact factor and Scopus-indexed journals, including Sustainable Development, Finance Research Letters, Natural Resources Forum, Energy Sources Part B: Economics, Planning, and Policy, Asia-Pacific Journal of Regional Science, SAGE Open, Cogent Business and Management, International Journal of Monetary Economics and Finance, among others. He has also served as a Member of the Scientific Review Committee for the 7th International Conference on Islamic Business, organized by Riphah International University, and as a Member of the Academic Procession Committee for Convocation 2025 at Riphah. Previously, he was a member of the Medal and Shield Distribution Committee for Convocation 2023 and the Registration Committee for the 7th World Islamic Economics and Finance Conference (WIEFC) at Minhaj University Lahore.
