Engr. Hamza Toor is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Riphah International University. His expertise spans EEG biomarker analysis, AI-based medical devices, and biomedical instrumentation. He holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD focused on Alzheimer’s disease detection using EEG. He has worked as a team lead in multiple funded projects, including the development of smart gloves for Urdu sign language translation and a national-level ventilator manufacturing and testing program, for which he received a certificate of recognition from the Chairman of NDMA during the COVID-19 pandemic. His innovative work has earned positions in the National Idea Bank initiative, recognized by the President of Pakistan. As the Lead of the Tehqeeq Lab at Riphah University and a consultant to industries including RMT USA, Engr. Toor continues to bridge academic research with real-world applications.
