Prof. Dr. Huma Riaz is an expert Physical therapist, academician and researcher, holding a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences. She is the Head of Physical Therapy Programs at Riphah International University. Her academic and clinical career spans over 18 years, focusing on women's health, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and technological innovations in physical therapy. Dr. Huma holds distinct qualifications in medical education and excellence in healthcare leadership and has led substantial curriculum reforms and supervised numerous postgraduate research projects. She is a seasoned and highly accomplished professional in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation sciences, with a distinguished track record in the development and advancement of women’s health physical therapy practice, research and education at the national level. Dr. Huma has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals and serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Riphah College of Rehabilitation Sciences. Her expertise has been recognised through keynote invitations, awards, and international collaborations. Her current research interests lie at the intersection of digital health, women's bone health, pelvic floor rehabilitation, telerehabilitation, Gestational Diabetes and personalised interventions for physical disabilities
