Prof. Dr Shahina Yasmin is Professor of Microbiology in Pathology department of Islamic International Medical College and Consultant Microbiologist at Pakistan Railway Hospital, Rawalpindi. She has been serving there for more than 26 years. She graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical college Lahore, obtained MPhil from Quaidiazam University Islamabad and PGD-PETM from Riphah University. Also working as MPhil Supervisor, Deputy Provost girls hostel, Proctor PRH and mentor. She is co-chair Infection control committee and hospital ethics committee, member of Antibiotic stewardship program. Her research contribution includes 16 published and 3 unpublished articles. she has experience of teaching Microbiology, Professional ethics, professionalism, hadith and seerah to under and post graduate students.
