Muhammad Amir is a Senior Lecturer at Riphah Institute of Public Policy, where he also serves as the focal person for the Institute’s Think Tank, overseeing seminars, policy dialogues, conferences, and institutional linkages with partner organisations. His academic and research interests lie in political economy, climate change, and the role of religion in development. Currently pursuing a PhD in International Development Studies at COMSATS University Islamabad, Amir’s doctoral research focuses on the role of faith-based organisations in post-disaster humanitarian assistance, with a case study of Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Pakistan.
